What It’s Like to Work With Me:

The three words to best describe my approach are: Experience, Equip, and Empower. I believe counseling is a collaborative journey that fosters transformative experiences. Individuals gain valuable knowledge, practical tools, and deeper insights that equip them to navigate life with more confidence. My goal is to see each person empowered to live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Leadership & Experience:

As Clinical Director of The Cabin Counseling & Resource Center, I provide leadership and guidance to our clinical team, ensuring excellence in client care and professional growth. I am committed to fostering an environment where therapists feel supported, challenged, and equipped to provide the highest level of care to our clients.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana with:

  • A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College & Theological Seminary

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University

  • Certification as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP)

My professional background includes:

  • Clinical leadership & therapist development to support professional excellence

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to foster self-discovery and growth

  • Adventure therapy incorporating experiential opportunities to supplement traditional therapy

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for managing anxiety, depression, and unhelpful thought patterns

My Philosophy:

“Personal insights lead to lasting change. I support both clients and clinicians in (re)discovering their voice and strengths even as they more fully embrace their imperfections and humanity.”
